Top Twelve Books I Re-read Constantly

This week's Top Ten Tuesday is actually "Books I Could Re-read Forever," but I decided to put a little bit of a spin on it (not much, mind you). There are a handful of books that I regularly flip through and read passages of over and over, and it is these ones that I want to share with you this week. Thanks as always to the host That Artsy Reader Girl for this topic. Of course since this really is a list of tried and true favourites of mine, I'm sure you will have heard me mention most (if not all) of them previously. Here we go!

1) Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
2) The Island by Gary Paulsen
3) Persuasion by Jane Austen
4) The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
5) Rose in Bloom by Louisa May Alcott
6) The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

7) North & South by Elizabeth Gaskell
8) The Giver by Lois Lowry
9) Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontё
10) Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
11) Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt
12) Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

    1. If you love Ella Enchanted, have you read The Two Princesses of Bamarre also by Gail Carson Levine? It's also a huge favourite of mine.

    1. Such a wonderful book. I don't personally think Love, Stargirl was the best, but the original is perfect.

    1. When I watched the movie, I didn't exactly realize that it was a book...but when I actually stumbled across the book again in the library I realized I had seen it before. I adore the movie, but I actually love the book even more. They are very different, but both absolutely magical.

    1. I don't blame you. I don't often re-read the entire book (there are so many other things to read!) but I regularly flip through and read favourite passages of mine to be able to experience the feelings again.

  6. I loved Ella Enchanted, The Giver and Howl's Moving Castle too! But it's been ages since I reread them.

    1. North & South is great. If you don't have time to get through the book, the mini-series is the best - I rewatch that one and/or Pride and Prejudice every year.

    1. I can't talk it up enough! I know there's a movie, but it barely bears any resemblance to the book.

  13. I haven't read any of these but they sure look interesting. A few of these are on my TBR too, specially Ella enchanted :D

I can't re-read books.. like ever. Simply because my unread TBR is higher than the books that I have actually read! Yes, no time to re-read :D
